2026-2027 Season Mark

Made to move you

Our upcoming 2026–2027 Season covers vast theatrical ground: From the existential dialogue in Waiting for Godot to the silly-yet-soaring music in The Pirates of Penzance, each story explores the realities of what it means to be human — sometimes through laughter or absurdity; other times through sorrow or suspense.

When we choose to experience theater together, something remarkable happens: Hope breaks through and propels us forward. This season is made to move you in big and small ways, and we can’t wait to experience it together.

Coming soon: Indígena by Owamni

Last October, we were thrilled to announce that Owamni was moving to the Guthrie’s restaurant space.

To mark this exciting new chapter, the James Beard Award-winning restaurant founded by Chef Sean Sherman recently announced it will evolve its name to Indígena by Owamni (pronounced: in-DEE-heh-nah). In addition to expanding its culinary scope and showcasing a broader diversity of Indigenous cuisines, Indígena by Owamni will introduce a pre-theater menu tailored for Guthrie patrons, plus offer post-show drinks and bar food service.
